Awapuhi and Wild Ginger Keratin Treatment
We can't wait for this at the salon, there's a new Paul Mitchell range that has been launched to celebrate their 30th birthday. There's eight products in the range all targeted for dry/ damaged hair. The product has already been launched in America and everyone is raving about it! There is massive hype and I have heard that due to high demand in America there were BIG problems with supply, but luckily enough ( he says) that has all been sorted. People who have used and reviewed the in-salon treatment have said that they haven't felt there hair in such good condition EVER! Also there are massive benefits for coloured hair - preventing fade up to 67% WOW!!! This repairs the actual hair shaft and then seals the cuticle. The in -salon price for this service is £30 and Paul Mitchell's Nayla is coming down on 18th November to present the product line and train this out to us in the salon by using it on our hair - as soon as I have any more news and feedback about the product I'll let you know!

Dance Rehearsals tonight
yes - I,ve come out as a Thesbian! I have been "roped" into playing an Apostle for David's November show Andrew Lloyd Webbers "Jesus Christ Superstar" showing in Exmouth in November.
As with most theatre companies - they were short of men, so, being an obliging sort of bloke I said I'd help him out ( I really didn't want to do it) and come wednesday morning i was awake from 5.30 worrying about it! I almost chucked the towel in and didnt go, you see I'm three rehersals behind and this lovely lot know how to dance! but I really enjoyed it and everyone was very kind and we had LOTS OF FUN! and I can't wait for my three rehearsal nights a week! Just goes to show that sometimes you have to push yourself and go through a bit of pain occasionaly to do something different in life! So come and see Jesus Christ Superstar in November at Exmouth, directed and choreographed by David youll and featuring me as a street dancing Apostle!

more heated rollers - the innovation of "The O"
This is quite amazing - Cloud 9 Hair company have got this amazing " O pod" that you turn on , pop your heated roller in the pod and they heat up in JUST 4 SECONDS! apparently they're not hot to pick up either ( one of the downsides of trad. heated rollers - ooo ahhh ouchh!) . Think how much time this would save not waiting for them to heat up in the morning! They cost £149.99 from Cloud 9 website you buy the rollers extra.www.cloudninehair.com

The Low Down on Morrocan Oil - you can believe the hype!
Beauty How To: Soft, Sexy Curls with Heated Rollers
Heated Rollers Forever!
We all love heated rollers at the salon, they offer a really beautiful long lasting curl for mid to long hair. Don't get me wrong we LOVE doing many different types of curls with our Black and Red Paul Mitchell straigteners but there"s a time and a place for everything and for a really glamorous Jessica Rabbit look in no time at all these are the Daddy!
As shown in the video you can now get sets with these cool clamps that make put them in and making them hold a doddle. We also prefer ceramic ones as they keep the heat in.
Using Heated Rollers can be a lot easier to do than making a curl with straighteners - which does take a bit of getting used to! you can also take big sections of hair, in fact big sections are best for this look! Make sure you use a heat protecter too like our Paul Mitchell Hot Off The Press as this protects form heat and frizz and has hold in it too - keep your rollers in for 30 minutes to an hour and get on with something else Hilda Ogden style x
